The neighbors and security guards in AbeerSabry’s building were surprised to see her rushing to her car and driving away at 3 A.M which wasn’t her habit at all; and when asked about this matter she laughed and said that it’s all Tamer Hosny and producer Mohamed Al-Sobky’s fault as they called to summon her in Al-Sobky’s office in order to discuss offering her a role in Hosny’s new movie “Nour Einy” (Apple of My Eye) starring him and Menna Shalaby.
When Sabry asked them to postpone the meeting till the morning and they refused, she discovered she won’t be able to get back to sleep anyway knowing there’s a work chance out there, and so she went to meet them.
The Marriage Counselor
On another level, the starlet has expressed her happiness with the reviews she got for her performance in her last two movies Hani GergisFawzy’s “Ahassis” (Feelings) and Magdy AhmedAli’s “Asafir Al-Nile” (Nile Birds) despite the criticism she got for her sexual scenes in them as she plays a marriage counselor in the first movie, and a young woman who falls in love with a man at first sight and gives him her all in the second.
The controversial star stated that she wasn’t expecting such reviews and success which led her to receive many scripts to choose from, from which she only picked the TV series “B Fe’al Fa’el” to participate in.
